Yeah, I've been a LEGO copywriter, kinda...The project
I was brought on board by an agency to create guideline copy for LEGO’s clients when writing their own content about the LEGO Insiders Clubhouse at LEGOland Windsor.
This was a bit different and more restrictive in terms of “fun” and with what I could and couldn’t say.
The LEGO copywriting project
A large chunk of this project I cannot show you. And I never wrote any of the B2C website copy, but I can show you a mock-up of the flyer and brochure copy that was sent to affiliates to guide them in their own writing:

Okay, so I didn’t get to do the actual website copy, but it was fun to be part of a project working for a legendary brand like this.
So, it does make me a LEGO copywriter… of sorts!
This was a tough brief, Matt, but I really like this and you’ve done everything you were asked to do.
I know it’s not the chatty style we contacted you for, but I’m really impressed and the LEGO team are too.
